Super cool, unique style. This jumpsuit is part of my “Painting Projects” series of upcycled clothing. Upon completion, the clothing that I wear to create my wall art becomes the “canvas” for an upcycle.

These clothing creations are usually based around painting and art. This jumpsuit is my latest offering. Best worn baggy, the look is vintage “Laverne and Shirley”, and could be worn with ankles rolled up, Converse “All Stars” and a bandanna in your hair. Super easy to wear and functional with velcro “rip” closures, these babies can be worn either full length or, my fave, with the top down! The paint is acrylic and has been naturally acquired through my art. I’ve embellished these with an embroidered “Service” badge on the front and 3 handmade appliqués on the back which spell ART.

The appliqués are made from recycled cotton, denim and linen and sewn on with contrast stitching. The body of the jumpsuit is original with no modifications. It has faux slash pockets on the sides which close with velcro. I believe these are for venting. The front angled pocket is usable as is the outside leg cargo pocket. The waist has velcro adjustments as do the ankles and wrists. The front is a full velcro closure. It is made from a poly cotton blend and washes easily in the machine. The original Army label with sizing and washing instructions is still in the neck. Please note all lint and fluff will be removed from the velcro before shipping. This item is super clean, the velcro just grabs any hair or pet fluff! No bleach has been used on this item.

As with all of my creations, all fabrics are reclaimed or recycled (except for thread) sanitised and stress tested for durability and strength.
